Get two magazines and a target with a marked but indiscernible-at firing range – middle chest target zone and a head box. FBI targets with bottle type scoring zones, etc. Now cover the target with an old t shirt.
Load your first mag with one round and the other with two. Insert the first mag and chamber so you now have an empty mag in the weapon. Second mag with two rounds on your body.
Start at 15 yards and (safely) start walking tactically, weapon out and ready to the 7. Never run, heel to toe tactical movement.
Fire the first round into the chest, speed load while still walking, then one to the body and one to the head. All this should be on the move and before reaching the 7, where you stop. No time kept, just have to get the shots on target and before reaching the seven. No stopping to shoot or speed load, do it all on the move.
Start slow to get the shots in and ensure good solid hits. Pick up speed as your abilities allow, but never let yourself stop once you start walking (except for a safety issue obviously) as this is a shoot and move drill. Get the shots off before you have to stop at the 7.
Advanced? Move more quickly or start from the 13, or 10 yard line. Add lateral zig zag around barrels. SWAT dudes or active duty advanced shooters? Add a partner and coordinate your fire, ensuring one fires while one loads- but being careful with your fields of fire.
